Green Birthday Parties
Children's birthday parties generate a lot of waste, from the disposable plates, cups and napkins to the plastic party favors made in China that inevitably end up in the garbage. Wouldn't it be great to give your child a birthday party that is eco-friendly with minimal waste and at the same time, educates your child and guests on how to live a green, non-toxic life, how to precycle, recycle and reuse and the benefits of giving e.g. to the community, wildlife, animal shelters etc. You pick your theme and we will custom design your party.
Examples:
Girl's Birthday Party - Make your own lip balm or candles from safe, non-toxic ingredients like beeswax, olive oil, honey. Make your own paper. Make toys for an animal shelter. Adopt an endangered animal.
Boy's Birthday Party - Create cool stuff out of "garbage". Create science experiments from everyday household products like vinegar, baking soda etc. Learn how solar power works. Make toys for an animal shelter. Adopt an endangered animal.
Cost: $250 for 2 hours plus cost of materials*
We will provide all reusable plates, cups, napkins, utensils etc.
